Designing a truly universal modulation controller was not just about adding more knobs or more lights.
The real challenge was creating a system capable of handling massive modulation complexity — without overwhelming the musician.
We wanted to bridge two worlds: the precision of software and the tactile immediacy of hardware.
The question was simple, yet radical:
How do you control hundreds of modulation sources with clarity, speed, and musical intuition?
A Modulation Architecture Without Limits
At its core, MADBOX is built around an advanced modulation engine capable of handling up to 64 independent modulation tracks.
Each track can be routed, shaped, and assigned freely — giving you deep control over movement, dynamics, and expression across your entire setup.

Intelligent Physical Control
4 virtual banks of 8 high-resolution potentiometers, giving you 32 instantly accessible parameters.
Each potentiometer includes its own dedicated LED, providing direct visual feedback for every assigned control.
But the real power lies in flexibility:
Every potentiometer is freely assignable within the software environment.
You decide what they control — filters, envelopes, LFO depth, CV outputs, VST parameters, hardware synth modulation… anything.

Despite this depth, the interface remains readable and immediate:

25 PAD TOUCH CONTROLLER
A responsive touch interface. compatible with analog, MIDI, and audio routing.
Trigger signals, automate parameters, and create dynamic performance gestures through signal and MIDI automation.

POLYMORPHIC CONTROLLER
A fully configurable macro-control system.
Load dozens of presets for popular synths, explore automatic SysEx layout discovery, and reshape your hardware interaction dynamically depending on your setup.

FREEFORM OSCILLATOR
Draw modulation by hand or record it live in real time.
Capture organic motion, apply smoothing filters, and crop boundaries to refine the shape of your modulation. Perfect for expressive, humanized control signals.

An advanced four-phase response system
(D-A-D-S-R).
Includes programmable looping, phase-based triggering, and peak control for sculpting dynamic modulation shapes with precision.

EUCLIDIAN SEQUENCER
A powerful rhythmic engine built around Euclidean mathematics.
Generate complex, evenly distributed patterns across 4 independent lanes, compatible with analog, MIDI, and audio signals.
Switch between forward, reverse, and bounce playback modes to instantly reshape rhythmic movement without rewriting patterns.

ARPEGIATOR
A fully playable and programmable arpeggiator.

X/Y TOUCH CONTROLLER
A performance-driven dual-axis modulation surface.
Use anchored or free modes, apply path smoothing, and create fluid multi-parameter gestures in real time.
